Children of all races playing together

We all start out color blind

We grow up, our eyes are opened

All innocence fades with time….yeah

White cop surrounded by colors

He only sees in black and white

His views passed down from his father

Fear fuels the hate inside….yeah

This is the great divide

The race was fixed in race relations

The white man wins again

God must be so ashamed of us

Our history of repeating sins….yeah

Racism is the real disease

I’m calling out to find a cure

We all look, but not all will see

This time it must not be ignored

This is the great divide

The time is here, the time has come

For all to rise up and stand as one

Lay down your weapons, open your hearts

For only love can reach that far

It’s not too late, this I believe

Only love can set us free

It’s time we heal the pain inside

It’s time for us to do what’s right

It’s time to bridge the great divide

Just release your fear inside

Lets walk together, side by side

Holding hands, we all will rise 

Let love bridge the great divide
